Navigating The Mess! With Jill Price
Artist-Led Workshop
Available spots
Service Description
As artists, we exist in a turbulent, capitalist sea of image production and media coverage that inform what we do and how we see ourselves. If you are currently discontent with what, why, or how you are creating, join interdisciplinary artist Jill Price for a full day to begin imagining where you would like your practice to go next. Drawing from her own transformational journey as a creative, the workshop will ask you to draw on personal life experiences, examine what gives you joy, reflect on your intuitive mark-making, and identify what you are drawn to visually and materially in order to leave the workshop with a clearer understanding of your identity as an artist. Upon identifying one's core values, needs, desires, and preferences, Price will help artists build a wonderful list of ideas/possibilities that will reflect their individuality and unique voice more authentically and critically through improved material choices, methods, and modes of presentation.
