With "Art is Love," Quest seeks to create a nurturing environment where artists can explore their craft freely, supported by a community that values and celebrates their work.
The artist-in-residence program, which launched on March 15th in tandem with the new Roxy Café, will provide selected artists with dedicated studio and/or gallery space on the main floor of the Midland Cultural Centre. Artists will have the opportunity to engage with the local community through workshops, exhibitions, and interactive events.
The "Art is Love" residency will welcome artists from a variety of different backgrounds and disciplines to encourage diverse voices and perspectives. These artists will embark on a journey of exploration, collaboration, and self-expression, guided by the ethos that art has the power to unite, heal, and uplift. Applications are open to emerging and established artists alike. Interested individuals are invited to visit https://www.questart.ca/art-is-love for more details.  Â
