2024 Rotary Auction

Quest Art School + Gallery is proud to support the Rotary Club of Midland's annual online auction!

"Winter Barn"

Close to my home in Tiny is this barn that I’ve passed many times that I’ve always admired. It is especially beautiful in the winter with the fresh fallen snow. It spoke to me and I had to paint it.

"Silver Birch Forest"

Silver Birch Forest is a semi-abstract, stylized landscape of an icy winter's day. Flecks of gold shine through the trees creating a warm glow. Alcohol inks unique properties give this piece it's captivating appearance.

"Winter's Solitude"

Winter's solitude was inspired by my husband, Nate Lacroix's photography.
The encaustic beeswax creates a unique depth and gentle sheen on this lone bluejay, a variety of colors and textures in the wax enhance the Jay's beauty, captured in time.

One of my favourite kayak spots is the McDonald River, in Georgian Bay. Where the portage spot is to get to McCrae Lake, there is a really beautiful, gradual waterfall, that flows under the bridge there, where many people hike to catch the amazing view. This is my interpretation.

The painting is a beautiful representation of the light at Midland Bay after a storm breaks, showcasing the contrast between the bright light and the storm clouds. A Cultured Diet

On January 19th, Quest Art School + Gallery was thrilled to host the opening of Holly Archer's solo exhibition, "A Cultured Diet." Running until March 2nd, this captivating showcase is an artist's exploration of diet culture and the value we place on our bodies.

Young Bloods

What an amazing night for the first annual Young Bloods Exhibition! We are so proud of the talented Georgian Bay District Secondary School artists who showcased their work in our gallery.
