Volunteers are the backbone of Quest Art and are engaged in all facets of our organization. Whether you are interested in joining our volunteer team, it’s been a while since you last volunteered, or you simply have questions about volunteering with Quest Art, be sure to explore the opportunities we currently have available.

Training is provided for all the volunteer roles, whether at Quest Art School + Gallery or off-site. There is no experience necessary to help out at Quest.

Student Volunteers

Students can get involved with Quest Art and discover fun and engaging ways to explore art, get community volunteer hours, meet other creative people or even complete their co-op credit!

The Education 
Committee

The Education Committee is an essential part of Quest, as we are, first and foremost, an art school. 

There Are Two Education Committees:

  • Adult Education

  • Youth Education. 


We Are Looking For Volunteers To Help With:

  • Supporting the Adult Education Committee by organizing programming for adults. 

  • Supporting the Youth Education Committee by organizing programming for: 

    • Teens

    • Tween

    • Families

    • School Outreach (visiting schools)

    • School Trips To Quest Art
       

Volunteer duties can vary depending on the age range, but could involve calling instructors, following up with previous instructors to verify information, and assisting in classes as a teaching aide.

Time required is roughly 1-2 hours per week and will vary by season.

The Fundraising 
Committee

As a Fundraiser Volunteer for the Quest Art School + Gallery, you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission to promote and celebrate the arts within our community. Your efforts will directly contribute to maintaining a vibrant and inspiring environment where artists can thrive and art enthusiasts can engage with creativity.

Responsibilities


Fundraising Campaigns:

  • Collaborate with the fundraising team to plan, execute, and manage campaigns.

  • Assist in developing creative and engaging fundraising strategies to attract donors and sponsors.

 

Donor Relations:

  • Research potential donors and sponsors to expand our network of supporters.

  • Maintain a database of donors, tracking their contributions and interactions.

  • Express gratitude to donors through personalized thank-you notes and updates on the impact of their contributions.

 

Event Support:

  • Assist in organizing fundraising events, including auctions, galas, and art exhibitions.

  • Help with event logistics, such as setup, registration, and coordination of volunteers.

  • Engage with event attendees to convey the importance of their support.

 

Outreach and Networking:

  • Represent Quest Art School + Gallery at community events and other relevant gatherings.

  • Cultivate relationships with local businesses, community leaders, and other potential supporters.

 

Online Presence:

  • Provide the communications person support for the maintenance of the art school and gallery’s online presence by contributing to social media posts and updates.

  • Promote fundraising campaigns and events through various online platforms.

 

Collaborative Efforts:

  • Work closely with the fundraising team, Director, artists and instructors, and other volunteers to ensure a cohesive fundraising and community engagement approach.

 

Qualifications:

  • Passion for the arts and a strong belief in their positive impact on communities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Prior experience in fundraising, event planning, or community outreach (preferred but not mandatory).

  • Flexibility to commit to a certain number of hours per week or per event, as agreed upon.
