Quest Art School + Gallery Seeks Board Directors
Residents of the North Simcoe area are invited to express their interest in joining the Quest Art Board of Directors.
Quest Art is a registered charitable organization and a proud and vital member of the North Simcoe community for almost 25 years. We are honoured to provide vibrant visual art education programs and free-access exhibition events to the public of all ages.
We are seeking to add three new members to our Board of Directors.
The Quest Art mission is to inspire and build community connections through visual arts: we partner with many community organizations including the Hero Centre, the Wye Marsh, the Midland Library, the YMCA, Chigamik and many more.
Quest Art is seeking highly skilled and participative Board members from members of the public with diverse backgrounds who can contribute significantly to the mission and future of Quest Art School + Gallery. Personal skills such as finance, law, advocacy, marketing, communications, Human Resources and fund development would be extremely welcome.

Volunteers are the heART of Quest Art!
Quest Art welcomes enthusiastic individuals who are willing and dedicated to furthering the importance of arts and culture in our community. If you have skills and talents that you would like to share while promoting visual arts in North Simcoe, we want to hear from you!
Quest Art is always on the lookout for the following help:
Be part of a committee: bring your experience and expertise to one or more of the following: Kaleidoscope Committee, Quest Art At Home Committee, Membership Committee, Volunteer Committee, and Fund Development Committee
Art Shop volunteers (meet and greet customers, process sales, workshop registrations and memberships)
Gallery Attendants (greet visitors in the art galleries and answer questions about our exhibitions & education programs)
Administration (help office staff with administrative tasks)
Openings and Events (welcome guests at our exhibitions openings and other events)
Young Artists' Instructor's Aid (assist our instructors in delivering quality visual arts programs both onsite or during our outreach programs to local schools)

Please note: Due to the amount of orientation required, we ask that volunteers are able to make a minimum commitment of six months, however, we also welcome volunteers for specific tasks and/or shorter duration tasks.
All prospective volunteers must complete an application form and be interviewed. If accepted, you will receive training in your chosen area of service by a volunteer trainer or a staff member.
Note: Quest Art requires that all volunteers submit a Police Record Check; they are free for volunteers who will present a letter from Quest Art. Contact us for more information.
