The Principles of Colour Theory

Service Description

This workshop will introduce students to the language of & principles of Colour Theory. In guided practice sessions, students will work with colour schemes & colour harmonies. They will also explore colour association, symbolism & psychology, gaining a working knowledge of how artists apply this theory to the creation of their original artwork.   Date(s): Saturday, June 8th + Saturday, June 15th, 2024 (Two-Part Series)  Timing: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM  Location: Quest Art School + Gallery  Fees: $130.00 (Member Pricing), $145.00 (Non-Member Pricing)  Kent Cissna has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Cornish College, Seattle, Washington, studied Fine Art at the University of Washington, Seattle and Graphic Arts at Iroquois County Career Center in Watseka, Illinois. He has a teaching career of 25 years with very diverse areas of teaching expertise. Kent lives in Victoria Harbour & is a Quest member.
