Service Description

Curious about printmaking? This introductory workshop offers a hands-on exploration of the printing process, perfect for beginners or those looking to expand their creative practice. Participants will be guided through the fundamental parts of a printing press, learning how to safely operate the equipment and adjust pressure for optimal results. The session will also introduce essential printmaking tools, including rollers, brayers, and inks, as well as techniques for properly preparing paper to ensure strong ink absorption. With these foundations in place, participants will dive into monoprinting techniques using mylar sheets and found objects such as leaves and other natural materials. This experimental approach encourages playful mark-making, layering, and texture-building, resulting in one-of-a-kind prints. This workshop emphasizes exploration and creativity, offering a supportive environment to learn new skills and create unique works of art. All skill levels welcome. Date: Friday, June 26th, 2026 Timing: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM $20.00 (Non-Member Pricing) $15.00 (Member Pricing)
