Dear Quest Community,
We hope your holiday break was filled with warmth, joy and time spent with loved ones and that you welcomed 2024 in good spirits.
As we turn our attention to the New Year, we look forward to sharing with you the many exciting opportunities that are on the horizon for our organization and are eager to fill 2024 with more artistic exploration, triumph and community partnership.
In this spirit, we would like to take this opportunity to once again share that The Rotary Club of Midland has extended a heartfelt invitation for your artwork to shine in their upcoming online auction in February. As many of you know, The Rotary Club has been an outstanding community partner of Quest's and an ongoing champion of our efforts to further extend our impact in Simcoe County. It is our hope that our passionate and talented Quest community can reciprocate this support and creatively collaborate for this meaningful cause.
Not only will your art contribute to vital fundraising for The Rotary Club, but it is also an opportunity for added exposure for yourself and your work. In addition, we are pleased to share that Quest has partnered with Ferguson Deacon Taws (FDT) Law Group to add an extra layer of artistic generosity…
Exclusive FDT Offer: Double the Impact, Double the Exposure!
For every piece of art (valued at $250.00 or more) that you donate, an FDT partner will purchase a second piece of your art (up to $250.00) that will also be donated to the auction. This means you will have a guaranteed sale of $250.00 and two items in the auction!
Please note that there is a limited number of these offers - but an unlimited opportunity to donate your art to benefit the community.
Added Benefits of Participating
For the duration of the online auction (February 15th to 29th), your art will take center stage in the Mezzanine Gallery at Quest Art, ensuring a spotlight on your creativity.
Quest is also committed to the ongoing promotion of the event and your work through the use of its new social media channels and will work to seek out additional marketing opportunities.
Submission Requirements
Submit Your Art: Reach out to Stacey at Quest (getinvolved@questart.ca) by January 19th, 2024. Attach a Word document with a captivating image, relevant details (title, size, framed size, price, medium), and a brief 25-50-word description or statement about your masterpiece.
Selection Process + Notification: A Quest jury will review all submissions between January 19th and January 24th to make selections for the auction. By January 24th, you will receive news if your work is selected.
Delivery Day: If chosen, you will be required to deliver your artwork to Quest on February 5th, where you'll sign an auction contract with The Rotary Club.
Special Offer: If you've been selected for the exclusive FDT offer, brace yourself for double joy – not only will your donated artwork grace the auction, but you'll also receive a generous cheque from FDT for the second piece they've purchased.
On behalf of everyone at Quest Art School + Gallery, we thank you for your consideration and hope we can work in creative collaboration to continue to support vital community initiatives through our shared love and language of art.
