Quest Art School + Gallery is delighted to announce its 2024 Giving Tuesday Campaign in support of one of Simcoe County’s most cherished community organizations, We Are The Villagers. On Giving Tuesday (December 3rd, 2024), every registration for a children's art program or camp, as well as every donation made specifically for this initiative, will be matched by Quest with an in-kind donation of a space in an upcoming children’s art class (valued at $120 per child) to We Are The Villagers.
As an organization that strives to provide accessible and inclusive art education and experiences, Quest's mission aligns with the unwavering efforts of We Are The Villagers to support disadvantaged families in participating in recreation, arts, and culture programs by removing financial barriers such as registration fees and equipment costs. Through this meaningful partnership, Quest is honoured to be able to contribute to the vital work being undertaken by We Are The Villagers and is excited to extend a donation that will ensure deserving children can participate in one of its dynamic creative art programs.

"At Quest, we believe that every child, regardless of their background or financial situation, should have the opportunity to experience the transformative power of art,” says Executive Director, Lawrence Sagar. “Through our partnership with We Are The Villagers, we are committed to helping break down financial barriers and offer children the chance to explore their creativity, build confidence, and become part of a community that values self-expression and connection. Art has the ability to inspire and uplift, and we are proud to play a role in ensuring that all children in our community can be part of this beautiful journey."“At We Are The Villagers, we strongly believe it takes a village to raise a child,” says Executive Director, Cathy Mills. “We welcome an expanded partnership with Quest that aims to foster growth and learning through creativity for our Villager children and youth. Working in concert with our community partners, we stand to make a greater impact for all families in our neighbourhoods.”
This Giving Tuesday campaign comes on the heels of the launch of Quest's new children’s programming brand, Petite Picassos. Serving as the vibrant umbrella under which all children’s art programming will now operate, Petite Picassos is designed to be an innovative extension of Quest that specifically serves young artists ages 3 to 12. Through Petite Picassos, Quest also looks forward to further creating opportunities for children of all backgrounds and abilities to engage in art programming and to strengthen community partnerships with local organizations, such as We Are The Villagers, to extend its impact in Simcoe County and beyond!
